  1. This is a great website with important information. It is truely sick and breaks my heart they way people treat these animals. I have supported the Humane Society, SPCA and the national wildlife federation for several years and will continue to do so. We have to be the voice for these animals that cannot speak for themselves. M Brooks-Curry SCC

    5. I definitely agree that we need to be the voice for these helpless animals. In today's society we do not need to have fur to have clothing. Primitive man did. It is 2014 and there are so many alternatives with faux fur that are still stylish, fun, and inexpensive and best of all no animals are harmed. Laura E.

  2. Although we hear about animal cruelty on the news from time to time, it's not enough! Readily available information on the severity of these acts must be made known to the public by all means possible. Sharing this website offers the opportunity to enlighten many more individuals of these heinous acts. Great site. Valentina P.

If there were more sites such as this, animal abuse/cruelty awareness would reach more people and therefore there would be more people to stand up against these inhumane acts. Gabrielle P

Anyone willing to make a statement and do the research in a public forum is making a change. Hopefully, the knowledge can inform people exponentially.

I have learned so much by reading these articles, watching the videos, and reading the blog. I feel that I can make better decisions when it relates to animal cruelty. Things such as buying certain products and considering voting for a potential politician.

It's awful if you ask me because why not utilize the alternative methods that are available now? This website has certainly helped me become more aware of the products that use animal testing and it is helpful to get this information out to the public to open their eyes to this as well.

  16. These links were very informative. The best way to get the word out is to educate the public the more they are away of the more likely they will side against animal cruelty. Knowing the products that are being used in a harmful way towards animals helps people realize which products they should stay away from to send a message to the company! The more the word gets out the more likely it will be that we can stop these harmful acts towards animals and really make a difference.

  19. These sites that have been developed are real eye openers. Social media has become a great platform for getting your message heard on animal cruelty. Some of the images are just too much to look at and if I can't even look at them it makes me think how these animals felt when they were being torcher. It's just sad that we as human can do this to animals, and think it is ok.

  92. It is so sad that all of these animals are put through the worst. It is almost like a crime. I will never attend another circus, or I will never buy anything with fur in it again because it is so cruel. I hope someone finds a cure for these poor animals, and helps them out!!

  93. This website is beneficial for those not aware of what kinds of treatments are getting used on these animals, not for the good either! I love elephants and it breaks my heart that they are being treated this way. More people need to be aware of how these circuses are treating these animals.

  94. It's such a shame that we have to have laws, regulations, and petitions on how to treat other creatures. Humans are disgusting and for a variety of reasons. We have become to accustomed to having things and wealth that we don't care how we get them or how they are made.

  95. The website is helping raise awareness through the articles, videos, and personal experiences listed. People gain a sense of realism when information is told either from a first hand account or in view where they feel as though they are their themselves.

  96. I definitely agree that its unfortunate that we have to be told by lawmakers how to treat another living, breathing, feeling being. Its a shame.

  97. Petitions are great ways to get recognition on a larger scale and maybe start a movement. While most petitions do not hold any legal grounds it defiantly can alert someone who can do something. I will be signing any of these that are still in use.

  98. I think that it's horrible that in this day an age there's still debate about whether animals should be treated kindly. They deserve just as much respect as we do. I'm very glad to see that there are petitions created to make change. I will certainly be signing them!

  99. This website is a good source for people who are unaware of how animals get treated. Animals deserve just as much respect as humans do, especially since animals can't speak up for themselves or do anything about the way they are being treated. I love elephants, and it makes me sad that they use them in circus's the way they do.

  100. I am glad there are petition that people can sign and make a change in society. I personally have signed petitions myself on the internet for the treatment of animals. I am so glad that some people use social media for awareness and not just for entertainment purposes. Hopefully with today's technology there is more awareness raised for the treatment of animals.

  103. This is a fantastic idea. In this day and age, the internet and social media is one of the most effective ways of spreading information. This will certainly raise awareness and change some peoples minds about what they are doing.

  104. So much of today’s culture is centered on social media to get the word out about certain issues. I love that this blog post is bringing the awareness of such cruelty into that field of media. I unfortunately do not see enough of this awareness throughout my daily interactions on social media. I hope that pages like these can help spread the knowledge and awareness of what goes on and what has been done to these poor animals in the past in hopes of making a difference and creating a better future.

  105. When I look at how brutal animals are being treated, I am so glad that there are petitions now that people can sign to help reduce and make a change to the way animals are treated. I think social media is doing a great job of making people aware of theses inhumane and cruel treatments that we as human beings do to these innocent animals.

  107. I was scrolling through the facebook posts and I saw a video on the chicken. It was really cool to see the guy raise a chicken that fell off a truck.

  108. In my opinion these petitions are good way to get involved. Me personally, I want to do something that can help contribute to stopping these cruel actions done to animals.

  109. It is insane that some people think that it is OKAY to treat animals like this. Animals are just like us. They have feeling and emotions, too. I am sickened and motivated to make a difference.
